The ESR is looking to recruit an Education Officer to support the Cranmore Station Heritage Project. This is an important new role, part of the lottery funded work at Cranmore, aimed at helping the ESR’s visitors to get the most from their visit by improving the presentation of the heritage.
The position will initially be voluntary and will require up to 15 hours per week but working arrangements are flexible. The role may become a paid position in due course, subject to funding. Regular attendance at the Railway and special events will be required. This will include Wednesdays and visits to schools/local community groups. We are looking for someone experienced in education, interested in heritage, qualified to at least A level standard and with good communication and presentation skills.
