Join us for an exclusive, ticket-only, mid-week family adventure, Thomas™: Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll! Tour is rolling into the station on 27th, 28th and 29th October. This event is packed with fun for the little ones and our friends at Fox & Edwards Events are handling all bookings directly - Thomas™: Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll!.

Don't miss the final weekend of our season! Come along and celebrate with us during our Spooky Special Halloween weekend on 31st October & 1st November. Tickets can be purchased in advance or direct from our ticket office on the day Halloween.

Following Halloween, we will be taking a short break to help Santa and his busy elves prepare for Christmas. Our highly anticipated Santa Specials will officially begin on 5th December 2026 - book tickets here Christmas 2026.

We have a well stocked shop and the Station Café provides a delicious range of food and snacks 5 days a week.

The friendly steam railway

We provide a large, free car park, a short walk from Cranmore Station. This main station building houses The Station Cafe and Toilets at ground level, the Ticket Office and Shop at platform level. For the children there is a Play Area situated next to the café patio, so the adults can enjoy some refreshments while the kids let off steam!

The Station Café is open Wednesday to Sunday 9:30am - 3:30pm and the Ticket Office and Shop are open 9.30am - 3.30pm, seven days a week when we are in season. Visit The Station Café website here .

As well as steam train rides we have many special events for visitors to enjoy throughout our season, plus a variety of dining trains to savour and for the enthusiast, footplate experiences to get up close to the wonder of steam! Our station waiting room replica museum at the end of the platform, hosts an interesting selection of memorabilia and is one not to miss.

East Somerset Models is an independent shop based in a small building on the left side of the car park. They stock a wide range of model railway items, please see their website HERE for opening times and further details.

Bring your furry best friend along! We are delighted to be members of DogFriendly - an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and their owners, our site is completely dog friendly, ready for their next adventure and they travel completely free of charge — we just ask that they keep their paws on the floor and off the seats.
