Explore the East Somerset Railway with unlimited train rides and a takeaway cream tea.
Enjoy a delicious take-away cream tea for 2 which can be enjoyed inside the Station Cafe or boxed up for you to enjoy in one of our picnic areas or on a train journey. Each person will receive a Day rover ticket which entitles them to unlimited train rides for the day of their visit.

A Whistlestop Cream Tea includes unlimited day travel and a takeaway cream tea from The Station Cafe which can be enjoyed inside or out.
BOOK PREPAID WHISTLESTOP CREAM TEAJoin us at the East Somerset Railway for a day steeped in Britain's Railway Heritage. Take unlimited train rides through the Somerset countryside along our 2.5 miles of track from our main station at Cranmore to Mendip Vale Station where you can watch the locomotive turn. Explore our history through the David Shepherd Discover Centre, the museum and ticket office then take a walk to our engine shed where you can see the work being carried out by our volunteers and check out the locomotives not in steam. Throughout your visit our knowledgable volunteers will be on hand to help you with any queries.
We ask that you enjoy your Cream Tea portion of your experience between 12.30 and 3.30 when you can have it either served in The Station Cafe or boxed up takeaway style to enjoy on the train or in one of our picnic areas.
