Mendip Belle - Sunday Lunch on a Train The East Somerset Railway

Relax and enjoy a delicious lunch as you steam through the rolling Mendip countryside on the Mendip Belle Dining train.

Adults £45, Children £30

(Includes plated meal and train ride).

The Sunday Lunch train departs 12.30pm and finishes at approximately 2.30pm. During the journey your meal will be served at a reserved table, with a bar on board where you can purchase alcoholic or soft drinks. Children choose from the same menu and enjoy a more child-friendly portion size.

The Mendip Belle Sunday Lunch is a three course plated meal taken on board our beautiful steam train. Seating is in booths of 4 seats but if there are only two attending, never fear, you will not have to share seats with others, you can enjoy your meal privately!

Main meals have a choice of various meats and a vegetarian option on each course. If you have any specific allergy requirements, please contact us for more details. If possible we try to accommodate everyone. For the Sunday Lunch menu and Wine List please see below.

We ask you to advise us of your menu choices at least 14 days before the event, either by e-mailing your choices to [email protected], or by giving us a call on 01749 880417. Please arrive at 12.00 noon so we can get you settled before departure. Also, your ticket includes a day rover, which means you are more than welcome to ride the earlier or later trains, look around our Engine Shed and Workshop, small museum on the platform and our shop and cafe will be open.
