Summer School Visits

School visits in 2022, exceeded pre-pandemic levels (over all available days) between May half term and the end of term.  What a vote of confidence from local schools – thank you so much! 

Also for the first time, most visits were themed around Transport Through Time (and not the Evacuee option) and really lending Heritage Railway Education a boost.   (We continue to develop our Learning Menu which can be viewed here but we also love new challenges!) 

Fun Fact: all school visitors this Summer Term came from within a 22 mile radius of Cranmore Station –( with coach costs & time impacting on the viability of a school visit), we have been incredibly well supported by schools in the region.  If you haven’t been with your class yet, please do come along, at just £8 per pupil and a jammed day of learning, & experiences and site attractions: autumn and summer bookings still available.
