Meet the author: Simon Hall 'The Portal of Time and the Strawberry Line'

Author of five children's books set at heritage sites around the country, Simon will be calling at Cranmore Station on 24th and 26th May with copies of his books including his latest, The Portal of Time and The Strawberry Line, set at the ESR! 

There will be the chance to win prizes and Simon will be providing Treasure Hunt maps which children can use to discover objects from the ESR's past. 

‘The Portal of Time and the Strawberry Line’ is the latest in the Hall’s series which celebrates Britain’s railway heritage. This time around Holly, Tom, Pip the cat and Boo the toy giraffe (along of course with their ever patient Mum and Dad) are off on an adventure on the Strawberry Line starting at the East Somerset Railway.  Featuring local sites such as Cheddar Caves and the infamous Shepton Mallet Prison.
