Meet the author: Simon Hall 'A Portal in Time and the Strawberry Line'

A new children’s book is set for release in the Summer of 2024 from popular author Simon Hall. ‘A Portal in Time and the Strawberry Line’ is the latest in the Hall’s series which celebrates Britain’s railway heritage. This time around Holly, Tom, Pip the cat and Boo the toy giraffe (along of course with their ever patience Mum and Dad) are off on an adventure on the Strawberry Line starting at the East Railway. Featuring local sites such as Cheddar Caves and the infamous Shepton Mallet Prison, this magical adventure will be launched with a series of ‘meet the author’ events throughout the summer.

Meet Simon Hall at the East Somerset Railway (28th-1st June & 8th -11th August), Shepton Mallet Prison (3rd- 4th August) and Cheddar Caves (5th-7th August).
