August Bank Holiday - Teddy Bear's Picnic

Join us at the East Somerset Railway for a trip down memory lane this August Bank Holiday and don’t forget Teddy!

Climb on board and ride the Steam Train to Mendip Vale and experience the nostalgic smell and sounds of steam as you make your way through the Somerset countryside – don’t forget that teddy bears travel for free! Take a walk down to the engine shed to take a peak at these fabulous engines up close and see what our volunteers are working on.

Teddy bear storytelling will be taking place everyday across the bank holiday weekend.

Saturday 24th August - Railway Storytelling with Beth Webb

Sunday 25th & Monday 26th August - Teddy Bear Puppet Show with Paul Wheeler

There’s a play area which is perfect for our younger visitors and plenty of space for your own picnic. The Station Café will also be open serving delicious meals, cakes and beverages.
