Great Western Traction at East Somerset Railway Spring Gala 2026
Our 2026 Spring Gala features visits from the rare GWR W22 Diesel Railcar from our friends at Didcot Railway Centre. These early diesel units served our line from the 1940s and were seen on local services through Cranmore.
It is joined by GWR Pannier 7754 courtesy of Llangollen Railway which is another GWR locomotive that was regularly seen on our line in the 1940s.
The gala will also see current GWR residents 4110 and 4555 which will make for a very busy gala weekend.
