Information for our Dog Visitors

We are dog lovers, so four legged friends are more than welcome!

We do not want them to miss out on your visit, so dogs get to travel FREE.
Assistance Dogs are allowed to accompany their owner in all areas of the railway including the café and dining carriages (please let us know that an Assistance Dog will be with you when booking for our dining trains). All other dogs are welcome to ride the normal passenger trains and all we ask is that they are kept on a lead and do not sit on the seats.

Water bowls are available at the bottom of the main entrance steps and on the platform, plus free dog treats available in the Shop.

Please note - For hygiene and safety reasons we do not allow dogs on our dining trains or in the cafe, Santa Specials or Event Days where we have large numbers of excitable children present, which can be stressful for some dogs (unless they are Assistance Dogs).

For visitors with dogs to walk we have several places nearby, the closest at 2 miles away being Beacon Hill Or Harridge Woods is about 4 miles away.
